Whilst I cannot claim to be a ‘craftsperson’, there is something really important about rolling up your sleeves and physically making things.

I was an early adopter of 3D printing, and spoke on a clerkenwell design week panel in 2013 about the technology and the impact it could have on design + Architecture.

CAD>CAM, be it 3D printing, laser cutting or CNC milling is my ideal process, as it blends digital design with physical making.
